Cost €140,000 as a yearling, and was a 1m AW winner for previous trainer Joseph O'Brien (Dundalk). Slightly disappointing on stable debut over C&D last week and the cheek-pieces are hastily applied.

Shown glimmers of promise so far, but his tendency to refuse too settle could potentially hold him back. Needs to drop the anchor over this stiff mile on handicap debut in order to get home.

Recorded swift back-to-back victories at this track in November (7f and over C&D), but just held from this revised mark on his return in February; beaten ½L by Bad Dog. Holds a chance, but requires a career best effort to score.

Regressed for previous trainer Karl Burke, and sold for just 4,500 gns in November 2017. Tailed off on recent stable debut at Southwell (1m) and for those clutching at straws, she mightn't have appreciated the demanding Fibresand surface.

Not won since June 2017 (6f Brighton, good to firm) and has steadily slid in the weights as a result. Left Mark Johnston for £8,000 in November 2017, and tries Tapeta for the first time on stable debut.

Cheaply bought as a foal (2,500 gns) and not shown masses of obvious promise so far. Makes just his second start in handicap company in an uncompetitive race, so not entirely discounted over this longer trip.

A much improved performer during the early weeks of 2018, developing into a solid 7f handicapper. Beat Bad Dog by ½L here in January and has went close from this mark since (third). Stamina reserves unknown over 1m.

Forecasts

Lord Caprio (5/4), Duba Plains (7/2), Elixsoft (7/1), Paparazzi (8/1), Breakfast (8/1), Royal Liberty (28/1), Skito Soldier (33/1)

Verdict

Stamina reserves will come into play over this searching straight mile, so it'll pay to focus upon those who tick that particular box. Elixsoft is rock-solid over 7f and sits on a winnable mark (60), but is opposed purely because of the trip. Lord Caprio is the solid option and might just squeeze out one more success. However, at the projected odds he's short enough from a joint career high mark. Therefore, we'll give one more opportunity to the top-weighted, first time cheek-pieced PAPARAZZI. He disappointed over C&D last week, but that winner Rude Awakening was thrown-in off his current mark and it's noteworthy that Luke Morris takes the mount tonight.
