€95,000 yearling, but sold for just 5,000 gns in November. His first two starts for William Haggas offered encouragement and he's now with exactly the right trainer for the switch to sprint handicaps. Of considerable interest.
Improving filly who was a 5f winner at Chelmsford on her penultimate start (novice stakes), but proved no match for Warrior's Valley at Lingfield latest. Surprisingly dropped 2lb for just her second start in a handicap.
Ran well behind Dubai Acclaim and VJ Day on his return to action at Wolverhampton in February (6f), before picking up a weak 5f maiden there latest (made all). Makes his handicap debut from a very reasonable mark.
Still a maiden after eight career starts, but has finished runner up on each of her last two outings (both 6f). Inching up the weights, but worthy of consideration at least on just her second start for this trainer (cost 7,000 gns).
Picked up for 7,000 gns from Ed Dunlop in October and quickly broke his duck on just his second start for this trainer at Wolverhampton recently (6f). Up 6lb and a shorter trip to contend with; albeit on a stiffer track.
Twice a runner up at this track during January (5f-6f), but remains an eight race maiden and gives the distinct impression that her winning opportunity has gone for the moment.
Has various bits and pieces of form-lines interwoven with Cherry Oak and did run well from a similar mark when beaten 5L by the thriving Rock On Baileys at Wolverhampton in February (5f). Mark easing, but remains a maiden after 11 attempts.
His recent form figures read 2,2,2,3. This tells us that he's likely to run his usual solid race, but he remains a maiden after 11 starts and has climbed 7lb in the weights since January. Solid third over 6f here latest.

Carpet Time (5/2), Mutabaahy (4/1), Cherry Oak (9/2), Super Florence (8/1), Furni Factors (17/2), Marietta Robusti (9/1), Mosseyb (11/1), Funkadelic (14/1), Sienna Says (16/1)
Those horses at the foot of the weights are much more exposed than some of the other runners, so the inclination is to take on the maidens Cherry Oak, Sienna Says and Furni Factors, with the addendum that the Ronald Thompson trained runner could see his most recent form-line boosted by Coastal Drive on Tuesday. Carpet Time appears well-handicapped for his debut in this grade (judged upon his Wolverhampton maiden form with Dubai Acclaim and VJ Day), but preference is for Paul Midgley's MOSSEYB. He didn't thrive for William Haggas but now based with a shrewd handler of sprinters and still unexposed, he could prove to be an absolute snip at just 5,000 gns.
- Mosseyb
- Carpet Time
- Marietta Robusti
