Started his career on the Fibresand well his three wins coming off much higher marks when he was with Tom Dascombe. Has fallen a long way in the handicap since then and is operating in a lower grade but continues out of sorts.
Ran just about her best race when last seen but that was back in October on Polytrack over 7f and she isn't sure to build on that. Makes her Fibresand debut now and others make more appeal; pedigree doesn't scream Fibresand performer.
One of a number making their Fibresand debuts here and her last two runs have been very poor not really building on a decent reappearance run (came back from a long break). Hard to recommend on her recent showings.
Interesting newcomer to Fibresand from a stable with a decent strike-rate at the track. Caught the eye a couple of starts back from a poor draw in a low grade handicap with excuses for her last two starts; worth noting any market moves.
Showed his best form last year with back-to-back turf wins over 7f although both wins came off lower marks than today. Rather an inconsistent sort though and now makes his Fibresand debut off a lengthy break and a watching brief advised.
Not won since mid-2016 but is operating off a rapidly falling mark and makes his Fibresand debut here. Had shown some promise on his first two runs for this yard but failed to build on those two outings and not overly attractive here.
Hardly achieved much over hurdles and hasn't really done an awful lot more in three Flat AW maidens. Now makes his handicap/Fibresand debut but would need to show a lot more to play a role here.
Capable sort on Fibresand in the past (seven-time winner here) but has looked regressive for a while until his latest outing where he managed to hit the frame. Even in this lowly grade though needs to show more spark to win again.
Remains a poor maiden who looks summed up by his handicap mark with his four starts here all being modest form. Never landed a blow here last time out over this trip and hard to recommend.
The only three-year-old in the field she won a claimer here over 7f and fared better than of late last time off a 4lb higher mark. Looks potentially well handicapped on that run if she can build on that outing and of interest in this.
Forecasts
Powerful Society (7/2), De Little Engine (5/1), Captain Revelation (5/1), Carlovian (5/1), Romantic (7/1), Riverside Bridge (11/1), Royal Holiday (12/1), Lily Ash (14/1), Rebel Sky (22/1), Quick Monet (25/1)
Fairly low grade fare with plenty of these getting their first taste of this unique surface with De Little Engine looking to be the most interesting of those while Irish raider Romantic looks sure to attract some support. POWERFUL SOCIETY looks well handicapped on her last run though and if she can repeat that she can go close here and get back on the winning trail. Royal Holiday and Captain Revelation have been capable of far better form in the past on this surface and warrant a watch in the market given their plummeting marks.
- Powerful Society
- De Little Engine
- Captain Revelation
