Inconsistent, good effort when beaten under a length at Taunton followed up by a much lesser effort at Warwick last time. Reverts to hurdles, but still a question mark over this trip and she's clearly not one to rely on.
Looked all over the winner at Towcester last time but found a well-handicapped and rejuvenated Tambura too good late on, Up another 3lb for that but a repeat puts her right on the premises and she's one of the more likely ones.
Solid enough efforts in novice hurdles last winter but a poor one when last seen may be explained away by the fact she's had a small break and wind surgery since. Too soon to write off, and chances if fit after that break.
Winner of this last year (from 8lb lower), some mixed efforts since then although did go close at Plumpton in January. New headgear given a try today, and she'll have a chance if it does the trick.
Had given indication her turn may be near before her win at Market Rasen last time, and the change of headgear duly did the trick. 9lb higher here but trip and ground fine, so every chance of the follow-up if in same form.
Has gone close off this sort of mark in the past, but hard to win with at her best and she's got questions to answer over both this trip and her wellbeing after a short break. Others make more appeal.
In good form, followed up her easy Ludlow win with another solid effort from 11lb higher at Market Rasen last time. Up another 4lb here, and new question to answer regarding the trip, so a bit more to prove.
Definite signs of promise in bumpers and novice hurdles but very disappointing on handicap debut at Fontwell, pulling up. Upped in trip here (may suit on pedigree) and too soon to give up on her. Watch market for a clue.
Only low grade but stays well and won't mind the ground. Bit below par at Uttoxeter last time, so needs to bounce back, but that's not an impossibility. Has gone close here in the past too, so has chances.
Has had a cracking season over fences and connections trying to take advantage of her lower hurdles mark here, but last couple of efforts have been lacking and she may have had enough for the time being. Others preferred.
Forecasts
Marvellous Monty (5/1), Act Now (5/1), Braventara (5/1), Dahills Hill (5/1), Bridane Rebel (6/1), Frank N Fair (10/1), Royal Claret (14/1), Little Millie (16/1), Ruby Yeats (16/1), Sahara Haze (18/1)
BRAVENTARA was a bit unlucky to bump into a revitalised Tambura (winner again since) at Towcester and she can gain compensation here at a track that should suit her. Bridane Rebel has been one of a few to refind some form for Jennie Candlish lately and a repeat of her latest Market Rasen win puts her right in the firing line. Royal Claret is a possible improver and needs a market check, and similar can be said for Little Millie.
- Braventara
- Bridane Rebel
- Royal Claret
