Had looked a weak finisher at times but put it all together for an emphatic success at Chepstow last time, coming clear to win easily. Obvious chance on the figures but yard struggling for winners again, and no certainly to follow up.

Took advantage of the leader rather stopping on the run in to score at Taunton last time, although jumping wasn't always the best, and previous blow-out at Aintree makes him not one for maximum faith. Chances all the same, but care advised.

Had been going well through the winter until a fall last time out (beaten at the time) but this is easier and has had wind surgery since last being seen too. Yard going well and one of the more obvious contenders here.

Second to a couple of decent sorts in point-to-points, connections wasting no time in getting him over fences after a slightly disappointing effort over hurdles at Hexham when last seen. Not seen for a while and may need the run, but interesting.

Forecasts

Geordie Des Champs (6/4), Rolling Dylan (7/4), Three Ways (3/1), Pauls Hill (8/1), Jeu De Mots (20/1)

Verdict

None of the obvious three on form are rock solid, and a bit of caution is advised. THREE WAYS is given the chance to show that his Newbury run was all wrong, as he looked progressive before that, and with the yard in decent form, he can bounce back at the expense of Rolling Dylan, who put in one of his better efforts at Chepstow to win, and Geordie Des Champs, a rare winner for Rebecca Curtis this season last time out. Jeu De Mots could improve no end for the switch to fences and isn't to be dismissed.
