Dual bumper winner who has continued his progress over hurdles winning his last two although his jumping left a little to be desired last time over C&D. More required here under a double penalty and may well be better suited by further in future.

Confirmed the promise of his hurdling debut when winning a Sedgefield novice over 2m3f before disappointing on his handicap debut. Back to form to a certain extent when second last time out under a penalty but has to defy the same impost here.
Well backed on his only run so far in an Ayr bumper on heavy ground he showed some ability despite not really getting involved. Now makes his hurdles debut and may do better now the ground has dried up.

Hinted at some slight ability on his bumper debut but has gone backwards since then in two further runs. Now makes his hurdles debut but faces a tough task.
Tried over hurdles and fences but has yet to complete a race and with four pulled-up efforts against his name he's hard to recommend here.

So far has shown very little in two bumper starts and now switched to hurdling. On what he has shown so far not much is expected here.

Verdict

It looks as though this really concerns the two penalised horses with C&D winner FIRST DRIFT narrowly preferred to Or De Vassy despite his double penalty. His jumping needs to be better but he’s progressed run to run and may be able to do so again. Boy Named Sioux is now seen over hurdles for the first time having shown a little promise in his only bumper so far.
