Progressing nicely and followed to solid placed efforts with an easy victory in heavy ground over today's trip at Ayr last month. There could be more to come and he rates a major contender.
Hacked up here on similar ground over 2m in January then followed up last time out Fakenham over this trip, staying on well to win comfortably. Yard continues in fine form so has to command a lot of respect in hat-trick bid.
Absent for a year since finishing fourth of six runners in bumper at this meeting and clearly has had issues. Fitness and wellbeing have to be taken on trust and others make more appeal.
Shown very little ability in three starts to date and it would take a huge leap forward for him to score in this company. Easily opposed.
Won a Bangor bumper in October 2015 but veyr lightly races since and must have had issues. Tailed off 4 out and pulled up at Wetherby last month on first start for a year and is very hard to fancy.
Second in Aintree bumper in October on debut for current yard but hasn't looked a natural over timber, although made modest late headway when sixth at Chepstow last month. May improve, but a place looks best she can hope for.
Failed to score in six starts for Gordon Elliott in Ireland in 2016. Little to write home about in three starts for current yard and underwent a wind op prior to running poorly last time at Wincanton. Up against it once again.

This looks a straight fight between previous winners WHISKEY IN THE JAR and Just Don't Ask, with marginal preference for the former who bids to complete a hat-trick and is clearly in good heart at present. Just Don't Ask did it well when scoring in a moderate heat at Ayr last time but is also going the right way and could be a tough nut to crack. Constante Via is open to a little improvemnt, while Iron Horse returns after a long absence having shown a hint of ability 12 months ago.
