Got off the mark at the 20th time of asking latest and raised 8lb for her trouble. No problem with the trip and interesting to see if she has indeed turned over a new leaf.
Best form on heavy ground and won in the mud over 2m4f at Leicester in January. 4lb higher now but worth a try at this longer trip and may not be far away in first-time cheekpieces.
Distant runner-up over C&D last time out off today's mark. Will be keeping on when others might be faltering but not a surprise to see her again find one or two too good.
First start back after wind surgery for this maiden six-year-old who hasn't shown much worthwhile form to speak about. Eased 4lb and has first-time tongue-tie but it may not be enough to change her fortunes.
Won a point-to-point way back when but has yet to trouble the judge in 16 attempts under Rules. Eased 5lb having been beaten 33 lengths last time and needs to get her act together to have any chance.
10-year-old maiden who fell when in touch last time at halfway and had previously been a surprise 50/1 runner-up Southwell. Has very little weight and may not be far away with a clear round.
Scored here in May 2014 over 2m4f and has won twice at Sedgefield two years ago over 3m3f in soft ground. Third in this race last year off a stone higher mark so, despite some poor efforts of late, does enter calculations.,
Forecasts
Sahara Haze (1/1), Mozo (7/2), Tara Well (6/1), Frosty Dawn (8/1), Special Princess (14/1), Hollow Park (16/1), Agent Louise (25/1)
This is a modest event to start the day and a chance is taken that SAHARA HAZE can defy top weight after a brave effort when scoring last time at Warwick. Agent Louise, third in this race 12 months ago, is undoubtedly well handicapped on old form but needs to bounce back after some poor displays. Both Tara Well and Mozo have claims on the pick of their form, while Frosty Dawn could be the surprise package if she picks her hooves up.
- Sahara Haze
- Frosty Dawn
- Agent Louise
