Useful five-time winning stayer on the Flat for the yard and has taken well to hurdles, scoring gamely over 2m3f at Chepstow (soft) on just his second attempt. Longer trip here should suit and could take some stopping.
Overcame greenness to quicken clear impressively before scoring at Fontwell (2m3f, good) but unseated next time and could only manage third over C&D last month (soft) behind Oak Corral. Still, that form reads well here.
Decent form in bumpers before making a winning start over hurdles at Uttoxeter (2m4f, good) in September. Out of his depth when pulled up in a Grade 2 event at Chepstow next time and yet to prove himself on ground this testing.
Won his two point-to-point starts easily last spring but was a disappointing favourite in a Ffos Las bumper and raced far too keenly when underwhelming on his hurdles bow at Ludlow. Others more persuasive in the short-term.
Plenty of experience in the point-to-point ranks, winning once on soft ground and placing on five other occasions. In good hands as he makes a hurdling debut but this may be a big ask. Watch the market.
He is a half-brother to a couple of winning chasers and he was noted doing his best work late on when mid-division in a Wincanton bumper (2m, heavy) on Boxing Day. Respected on hurdles bow over a longer trip.
Promising winning point-to-pointer in 2014 but nothing special shown in a couple of novice hurdles since returning from a long absence, beaten 30L at Fontwell last time. Others preferred.
Flashes of promise in one point-to-point run but unfancied and pulled-up when making a hurdles debut on soft ground at Exeter in December. Hard to build a case for on that evidence.

CHAMPAGNE CHAMP has proved a grand servant for the Rod Millman yard, winning five times on the Flat and he has taken well to hurdles on the evidence of game win in testing conditions at Chepstow last month. There is potentially a fair bit more to come from him and it wouldn't appear beyond him to defy a penalty in this company. Chosen Path wasn't beaten far behind subsequent Albert Bartlett runner-up Ok Corral over this C&D, so rates an obvious danger with Gosheven also respected on his hurdles debut.
