Winner at Huntingdon on Boxing Day, but his two performances since suggest he thinks he's done enough for now.

Made most when scoring over this trip on heavy ground and in similar company last time. There is probably more to come now that connections have found the key to him.

Cruised to an emphatic victory on Monday when making debut for a stable who are having a stellar season. No surprise to see him turned out so quickly under a penalty as the handicapper will be merciless when reassessing him.

Latest effort came as a shock following his previous performances over these obstacles. This is undoubtably a much better race.

Forecast

Alberto's Dream (8/13), Redmond (2/1), Onurbike (12/1), Basford Ben (16/1)

Verdict

Redmond showed a good attitude when opening his account at Fontwell on his latest start. He fought back after making the running and being headed two out. However, he may be a sitting duck this time if ALBERTO'S DREAM performs to the same level as on Monday when trouncing his rivals in a similar contest. Tom Lacey has unlocked the talent that has been hidden away and a 7lb penalty may not be enough to prevent a follow-up given his superiority that day. Basford Ben had a hard race on Boxing day and has not forgotten it, whilst Onurbike produced a career best last time, but that would still not be good enough.
