Confirmed the promise of his Catterick second when returning to winning ways over C&D last month. A 4lb rise is fair and he looks sure to be thereabouts again.
Failed to give his running when favourite and pulling up over 3m at Wetherby last time, but had previously won a novice handicap over that C&D. Firmly in the mix if returning to the form of that winning run.
Irish chaser who is in the twilight of her career. Well behind Smuggler's Stash last time and faces a huge task to turn the tables even on these more advantageous terms.
Pulled up behind Smuggler's Stash in first-time blinkers on his latest start. The headgear is left off and he has a pull in the weights, but it is hard to be confident of his chance given his current form.
First start over fences for current trainer, and only her second over the bigger obstacles, saw her make all in a Wetherby novices' handicap. Has been raised 8lb and steps up in trip, but has to go on the short list.
Still looking for her first win over fences after 11 attempts, but ran well to be second of six at Market Rasen last month. Runs off the same mark and should not be disgraced.
Forecasts
Smuggler's Stash (11/8), Dick Darsie (5/2), Massini's Lady (11/4), Moorstown (5/1), Gibbstown (15/2), Nelly La Rue (16/1), Chicago Outfit (16/1)
Smuggler's Stash looks sure to give a bold display despite top weight, but this may go to the less exposed MASSINI'S LADY, who won well at Wetherby last time and surely has more to offer over fences. Dick Darsie may be dangerous if putting a poor latest run behind him, while bottom-weight Nelly La Rue can get involved if repeating her Market Rasen display.
