Dual Group 3 winner who is without success for over two years. Went close in a Lingfield handicap (1m) in January and a repeat of that would give him decent claims now dropped into this grade for his first run here.
Much worse off with his stablemate than if this were a handicap but has been prolific at his own level, winning 10 races from 7f-1m1½f, three of them here. Up against it here, but his last two wins have come on his second start after a break.
Has won eight races at 6f/7f, though went close over today's C&D last year. Yet to make much impact in claimers and others make more appeal on these terms.
Scored over C&D a couple of years ago and also over 1m1½f here in September. Beaten just 1L over C&D in a handicap here last time and has first run in a claimer since 2013 here. Could be playing for the places.
Has won just three of his 47 starts at 6f/7f and it is six years since he was placed in Group 3 company on Tapeta at Meydan. Ran well in a claimer here (7f) last year and not beaten far in a seller here last time but will need more than that to win.
Goes well fresh, having scored after a 195-day absence in a Yarmouth maiden (6f) in August. Well beaten on handicap/AW debut when last seen at Kempton in September, but unexposed and may have more to offer at this level.

Captain Cat (4/5), Barnaby Brook (3/1), Athassel (6/1), Energia Flavio (6/1), Mehdi (14/1), Miami Sunset (18/1), Admirable Art (66/1)
CAPTAIN CAT looks capable of taking advantage of the drop to this grade and should be able to record a first success since 2016 if he can run to anything like his ability. Energia Flavio could make an impact if returning to his form of two starts ago, while Miami Sunset is unexposed and interesting off bottom weight, with a market check looking prudent. Barnaby Brook and Admirable Art could also get involved in the battle for the minors.
