Won point-to-point and bumper on respective debuts. Modest hurdler overall but respected back in this company.
Solid and consistent in three bumpers in 2015/16 season placing on each occasion. Won a novice hurdle in February last year and worth a market check.
Unplaced on all five hurdles starts but was fairly useful when trained on the Flat in France. Worth a market check back on the Flat and in first-time blinkers.
Made the most of a decent opportunity to score over hurdles in September but appeared to have been then dealt a harsh mark in handicaps. Not one to totally leave out of calculations in first-time tongue-tie.
Has been left toiling in two bumper starts at Market Rasen and Ludlow this season and has work to do on current form.
Won four times on the Flat in France at up to 1m7f. Third of eight returning from a break in a Chelmsford handicap last month when third of eight. Capable of another bold show.
Winner of a Plumpton bumper in 2015 and best effort since came at the same venue on his second start over hurdles. Won on his third bumper start at Plumpton in May 2015 but looks opposable here.
Not without promise although well beaten in two bumpers for Alan King at the start of the year. Poor in two starts for current yard and passed over on return from a wind operation.
Has caught the eye in both hurdles starts, highly tried at Cheltenham last time but not disgraced. Others hold stronger profiles.
Winning 7f/1m Flat performer on turf and the AW for Michael Bell. 17L behind Redicean on stable debut but not ruled out in this contest.
Forecasts
Chelsea Flyer (6/4), Article Fifty (7/2), Shall We Go Now (8/1), Broughtons Admiral (8/1), Ray's The Money (8/1), Volpone Jelois (10/1), Land League (20/1), Welluptoscratch (33/1), Cadeaux's Fire (66/1), Hatem (66/1)
CHELSEA FLYER was solid and consistent in three bumpers in 2015/16 season placing on each occasion and progressed to a 134-rated handicap hurdler at the end of last season and can return to the winners enclosure here. Volpone Jelios and Article Fifty are the best of the rest and can hit the frame in the closing contest.
