Was a long odds-on chance when winning his bumper over C&D in the spring but in truth had very little to beat there. Disappointed on return at Wincanton in October and best watched here.

Produced two fine bumper efforts at Carlisle and Ffos Las without getting his head in front before disappointing at Punchestown last April and nothing of note in three novice hurdle efforts.
Backed off the boards to win at Market Rasen three starts ago, duly obliging, and improved on that when carrying a penalty at Worcester before disappointing at Newton Abbot in September. Returns from wind-op.

Dual bumper winner, but yet to win over hurdles. Finished runner-up on her last three starts and deserves a change of luck.

Daughter of Winker Watson out of a Mujadil related to the improving Sheena West-trained handicap hurdler Ding Ding and market likely to reveal expectations on debut.

Forecasts

Onefortheroadtom (2/1), Peggies Venture (5/2), Mcgroarty (7/2), Diamond Guy (11/2), Flemenskill (14/1), Scented Lily (33/1), Huntress (33/1), Starlette (66/1)

Verdict

A chance is taken here with the Warren Greatrex-trained FLEMENSKILL who under jockey-Richard Johnson can go from the front and possibly have a number of rivals in trouble some way out. The six-year-old produced two fine bumper efforts at Carlisle and Ffos Las this time last year and can certainly grab a place at least here. McGroarty and Peggies Venture can battle for the minor honours.
  1. Flemenskill
  2. Mcgroarty
  3. Peggies Venture
