Trainer has fine 37% winning strike rate here. Bolted up at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day then followed up over C&D off 13lb higher mark last time. Raised a further 8lb but still rates a serious contender in current form.
Has won 4 of last 8 starts including once at this track over similar trip to today. Risen 31lb in the ratings in just over four months though and handicapper may have her measure. Finished well beaten third last time.
Looked a non-stayer over 16f on Fibresand at Southwell last time having travelled well through much of the race. May do better on this surface over 14f so a good show very much a possibility.
Won Thirsk 12f maiden and Chester 13.5f handicap last term but not seen since well beaten at Doncaster in October (possibly over the top). Top yard much respected and currently operating at 32% winning strike rate. A/W debut.
Raised 7lb following easy win here over 2m last time out, although burst blood vessel in the process. Not certain to be quite as effective back in trip in decent race but won't be far away.
7lb better off for four-and-a-half lengths following their meeting last time on first start for current yard. Shorter trip may help and is well handicapped on Royal Ascot handicap third in June off 8lb higher mark.

This is a decent staying handicap that may go to the possibly well handicapped BEAR VALLEY who seemed revitalized on his first start for new connections last time out. On his King George V Handicap third last summer he is handicapped to go very well. The two Godolphin representatives look big dangers. Top weight Ocean of Love is on a hattrick. He has shot up the ratings but should be thereabouts attempting to defy another 8lb rise, while Key Bid tackles the A/W for the first time for his in-form yard. Others to consider inlcude St Mary's and Velvet Revolution.
