Yet to make the frame in either code and beaten a long way in all starts, both All Weather/turf on the the Flat. Impossible to make a case for her.
Sent off 25-1 and only involved on the sharp end until half way on debut at Beverley (5f) on debut in August. Is half-brother to a winner at this venue, so may be capable of better for the switch, step up in trip as well as that initial experience.
Improving with each run since making his debut in December and has twice run well on Tapeta at Newcastle (6f/7f) since. Latest effort suggested that this is his optimum trip for now and from a good draw he should be closely involved again.
Like his stablemate he was also sent off at 25-1 on debut over 7f at Newcastle (Tapeta) when beaten 6L there earlier in the month. Remains to be seen if shorter trip will enable him to get more competitive, though market check looks prudent.
Has run with credit in all three starts so far. They were in turf maidens last summer, so returns here from six-month break, now gelded and makes All Weather debut. Has an American dirt pedigree, so possible that he will handle this. Not ruled out.
Half-sister to a couple of useful winners and was sent off at just 7-1 for her debut here over 7f a fortnight ago. Beaten 18L that day, but likely that there will be better to come. May have to wait for other days to break her duck.
Forecasts
Dubai Acclaim (1/1), Vj Day (7/4), Royal Rattle (7/1), Carpet Time (20/1), Servilia (50/1), Respectability (100/1)
DUBAI ACCLAIM looks to have been found a good opportunity to break his maiden this time. Richard Fahey's improving colt can benefit from the return to this trip and looks capable of seeing off this field. Vj Day is interesting now switched to this surface and could prove to be a danger, while an eye on the market with regard to the others looks sensible advice, given that Servilia apparently underperformed on debut and that David Barron has two chances here with Carpet Time and Royal Rattle.
- Dubai Acclaim
- Vj Day
- Royal Rattle
