Had shown some glimmers of form over fences (winning hurdler) when trained in Ireland particularly when 5th to Tombstone in a beginners chase in November (failed to build on that run though). Looked to have stiff task when scoring here on stable debut but beat odds-on favourite; life tougher now under a penalty.

Showed promise on his chasing debut at Chepstow when 2nd in a handicap (off a higher mark than he had won off over hurdles) and went one better dropped back to this trip at Ffos Las. Coped well with testing ground on that occasion (travelled well) and looks capable of further progress.

All of these have shown that they can handle the conditions with Scorpo and Bobbie’s Diamond clashing last time out over 2m here. The latter of the pair got the better of the argument on that occasion and should do so again here. However, LOOKSNOWTLIKEBRIAN comes out best on the official figures and the form of his two chase starts particularly his win in stamina sapping conditions at Ffos Las last time out is the best form on offer here especially as his yard look to be finding their feet after a quiet spell.
