Won the last of his three starts in bumpers and made a wining debut over timber, following an 11-month absence, at Punchestown but possibly found the step up to Grade 2 company a step too far at Limerick.
Winner on the Flat in France and ran some respectable races back in the 2014/15 season. Landed a small shock winning at 12/1 on return to the track in June and has been missing since.
C&D winner last time out earlier this month when beating 13 rivals comfortably taking a maiden hurdle by 4½L. Capable of repeating that win here.
Made a promising return from a break when finishing third of 18 beaten 8L behind Alletrix in a Leopardstown handicap hurdle earlier this month. Likely to go well in this company.
Disappointing when a well-beaten favourite on handicap debut at Leopardstown before finishing 11th of 13 beaten 19L here last month plenty to find on recent offerings.
Bagged a well-deserved win in a Thurles maiden hurdle last month before beaten favourite here earlier in the month in a novice hurdle. Better than last start.
Forecasts
Contingency (5/2), Pete So High (3/1), Best Behavior (7/2), Uradel (4/1), Minella Fair (9/2), Wigs On The Green (14/1)
A 78-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer-Richard Hannon, PETE SO HIGH has taken well to a four-race hurdling campaign since December and can land this contest following a couple of solid efforts at Thurles and here earlier this month. Contingency and Uradel can give the selection the most to think about.
- Pete So High
- Contingency
- Uradel
