Makes her Fibresand debut and will be happier that she goes left-handed again after springing back to life making her handicap debut at Lingfield. Now with a new yard cheekpieces go on for the first time; still looks on a tough mark.

Has really taken to this surface winning both his starts here and seemed unperturbed by a move back to 6f last time out. Arguably that was his best performance and even off a 6lb higher mark he's hard to leave out of the equation here as he defends his unbeaten Fibresand record.

Third over C&D on her only Fibresand start that indicated that she could act on the unique surface. Dropped 4lb since that effort (well beaten on Tapeta last time out) she may well appreciate a return to this surface.

Previously with Richard Hannon she now makes her first start for a new yard after a break encountering Fibresand for the first time. Her two handicaps starts so far haven't been encouraging but she has dropped to a career low mark.

Made her debut here over 7f in a minor event but showed very little after that in a couple of starts. Now makes her debut in handicaps and may do a little better but would need to show more to get involved.

Has shown little form really including in a seller and was well beaten in his only handicap so far. Fared poorly in a maiden over 5f here last time and makes little appeal back in handicap company.

Tried in various company but has been well beaten in handicaps on her last two starts. Raced very freely last time out and makes limited appeal on her Fibresand debut.

The most experienced of these on the surface although all her form (such as it is) on Fibresand has come over 5f. The cheekpieces tried for the first time are now left off and hopes for any improvement are pinned on the increased trip.

Forecasts

Ray Purchase (4/7), Team Showme (7/1), Courteous Crown (8/1), Lady Sophiebella (10/1), Precious Silk (12/1), Eyes of Fire (20/1), Pammi (25/1), Elegant Joan (25/1)

Verdict

There don’t look to be too many here that are ahead of their marks apart from RAY PURCHASE who has won on both his starts on the Fibresand and despite a 6lb rise for that last C&D win he sets a decent standard here. Precious Silk still looks on a relatively tough mark but should enjoy going this way round and the cheekpieces are applied for the first time starting out life for a new yard. Lady Sophiebella ran well enough on her one start here and the booking of Luke Morris catches the eye.
