Dual bumper winner who was well supported for his hurdling debut at Newbury only to unseat his rider at the first flight. Has leading claims if getting his jumping right this time.
Beaten out of sight in two attempts over hurdles and has to overcome an absence of over two years. Needs to live up to his name on his return and a watching brief is advised.
Pulled up in a point-to-point and beaten a long way on his only start over hurdles at this track last month. Nicely bred and may do better in time for shrewd stable.
Won the only two bumpers he contested and latest of three efforts over hurdles was probably his best. That level of form still leaves him with something to find.
Bumper winner when trained by Gary Moore, but has not been sighted since May, 2015, and has clearly had his problems. Best watched on stable/hurdling debut.
Stable companion of Fire Ahead who led for a long way before fading and being pulled up on his only start in an Irish point-to-point in October. In good hands, wears a hood for the first time and is worth a glance in the betting on his hurdling bow.
Not without promise on three starts for Heather Dalton. Makes his stable/hurdling debut, but trainer looks to have a stronger contender in Air Navigator.
Winner on the Flat for Richard Hannon and stepped up on debut run over hurdles when fourth of 10 at Catterick. Needs to improve again to get involved at the business end.
Stable companion of Paris Protocol who showed ability in bumpers and has finished second twice in maiden/novice company over timber. Disappointing at Wetherby last time and needs to bounce back.
Sent off at 3-1 and led for a long way before fading to finish sixth in a bumper at Exeter last March. Excuses were found for his defeat so he is of interest for his respected connections on belated return and debut over hurdles.
Seven-race maiden on the Flat for Richard Hannon who starts out over hurdles for new stable. Best watched on this occasion.
Won a Hamilton handicap for Hugo Palmer last summer, but only outing for current yard saw him finish well down the field in the Melrose Handicap at York. Has been gelded and given a break, and has to be of interest on his jumping debut.
Won one of his 12 starts on the Flat for Sir Mark Prescott and has been gelded before his stable/jumping debut. Wears a tongue tie for the first time and jockey booking catches the eye.
A maiden on the Flat for David Simcock, he made his hurdling debut for this stable at Fakenham and finished a distant fifth of eight. Needs to show significant improvement.
Forecasts
Air Navigator (10/11), Qaviy Cash (5/1), First Drift (13/2), Quest For Life (8/1), Veiled Secret (14/1), Silver Hollow (20/1), Paris Protocol (22/1), Ilewin Geez (33/1), Oscar Bravo (40/1), War At Sea (66/1), Nomination Game (100/1), Helf (100/1), Fire Ahead (150/1), Fighting Back (200/1)
Although he was pulled up on his point-to-point debut, Nomination Game is an interesting contender and worth noting in the betting. It will be interesting to see if the market speaks for fair Flat perfomer Qaviy Cash and the same can be said of Veiled Secret and Silver Hollow, but preference is for AIR NAVIGATOR , a good bumper performer who can be forgiven his lapse on his hurdling debut at Newbury. Quest For Life is another to consider.
- Air Navigator
- Qaviy Cash
- Silver Hollow
