Only win in 18 starts came in a 3m maiden hurdle nearly two years ago. Well beaten favourite in Punchestown 2m7f handicap chase latest and drop in trip looks the right call. May need more help from the handicapper though.
More than six years without a win, and despite not being beaten too far last time is hard to get too excited about. Hopes rest on falling mark finally making him competitive.
Third at 50/1 in beginners chase at Clonmel in December but remains a maiden after 20 outings. Outclassed over hurdles last time so doesn't inspire great confidence.
Landed maiden hurdle two years ago but hasn't shone this term in three starts over fences. Burst blood vessels and well beaten when last seen so has got plenty on to score.
Won on chasing bow at Navan last January and was close second on both starts after that. Appeared on the way back when third at Fairyhouse last month and might have been found a winning opportunity.
Makes his handicap debut over fences after three modest efforts so far at this game. Handed a workable mark so not dismissed and market may guide as to realistic chance.
25-race veteran maiden. Beaten 80 lengths on belated chasing bow at Gowran Park last month and is impossible to recommend.
Forecasts
Spare Brakes (2/1), All The Chimneys (3/1), Joxer (5/1), Inch Rise (7/1), Kiera Royale (15/2), Mindsmadeup (10/1), Mista Wabbit Man (12/1)
ALL THE CHIMNEYS has a decent chance if reproducing a fair effort when third last time at a similar level. On the best of his old form Joxer is a handicap snip, and while he hasn't shone of late he still rates a danger in a poor race. Inch Rise is another who enters calculations on the best of fhis form, while any market interest in handicap debutant Spare Brakes would be worth noting.
