Broke his duck at Market Rasen (2m2½f, soft) when scoring by 6L. Penalised here for that improved effort, so will need to maintain that upward curve in order to defy the extra burden. Looks well placed to give a very good account.
Yet to win, but still early days and shaping as though he is going the right way. Was 2L runner-up at Sedgefield (2m4f, soft) last month and will need to raise his game again here, but certainly can't rule out that first success.
Improving performer at around 2m4f in recent months and put up his best effort so far at Sedgefield (2m5f, soft) last time in a handicap. A 5lb rise for that has seen connections revert to this company and he is respected.
Won a Tipperary bumper (2m4f, soft) in October for Gordon Elliott and was running a good race on debut for this stable at Leicester last month when falling at the last. A clear round should see him right in the mix again.
Won a Chepstow bumper (2m, good) in April, so we may have expected better when he was favourite for his Wetherby hurdles debut last month, but finished tired (2m3½f, soft) there. Could strip fitter/better for the experience and can't rule him out.
0-15 under both codes and has made the frame just once on the Flat. Has not shown a great deal in either hurdles run and a watching brief is advised in this company.
Won a maiden Irish point-to-point on debut in November and was bought for £17,000 just after. Has shown a bit of promise in both bumper runs (on soft/heavy) and capable of improvement now going hurdling and over further.

A good opener to the card, with the untapped potential of SECRET LEGACY catching the eye and after a good run, barring his late spill, at Leicester last time, he is the suggestion to get it right today. Ballinslea Bridge is feared in opposition, with Henry's Joy, Le Drapeau and Truckers Lodge all given due respect going into an interesting contest.
