Highly tried on his sole outing on the Flat and well beaten in both hurdles starts. Looks outclassed in this contest.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-2| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR:  156
6/4
Successful three times over hurdles and ran well to finish ½L second to The New One in a similar race to this at Haydock (heavy) last time out. Represents a leading stable and is one for the shortlist with a tongue tie fitted for the first time.

Forecasts

Ch'tibello (6/4), Call Me Lord (13/8), Elgin (5/1), Flying Tiger (8/1), Cliffs Of Dover (16/1), Cap'n (250/1)

Verdict

CALL ME LORD can register a third win in four starts since joining this stable by recording a first Graded success in this small field hurdle contest. The selection was a winner on heavy ground last time out and can get the better of Ch'tibello who wears a tongue strap for the first time today and has run well in similar races in the past. Top weight Elgin carries a penalty today and he can finish third.
  1. Call Me Lord
  2. Ch'tibello
