Losing streak now stretches back to 16 races and he is still 3lb above his last winning mark. Last run was disappointing but the pace was muddling and his previous effort here in better grade gives him an excellent chance.
His two previous runs here have produced one win and a second. The form of his maiden victory worked out well and proved he goes well fresh. Needs a good gallop and no guaranteed pacemaker in the lineup.
Huntingdon hurdle winner who was placed four times on the Flat in France. Opening handicap mark in this country looks fair enough and the jockey booking looks positive.
Landed a Carlisle maiden last term (1m1f, good-to-soft). Made stable debut two weeks ago after four months off and shaped as though she would improve for the run. Cheekpieces refitted but yet to prove she stays this far.
Controlled a Wolverhampton claimer from the front which turned into a sprint. He was favoured at the weights and probably did not achieve as much as the handicapper has assessed in landing that race by 10L.
Four wins and two seconds from his last six AW starts but yet to race here. Up in grade, but he has shown the speed to win over shorter and that could be a factor if this turns as tactical as expected.
4-11 over C&D but yet to win from a mark this high and he is due to drop in the weights next week.

Forecasts
Regicide (2/1), King Kevin (11/4), Rainbow Rebel (9/2), Dream Magic (5/1), Canyon City (10/1), Quothquan (10/1), Bamako Du Chatelet (14/1), Sea Tide (25/1)
A lot is going to depend on the pace for this with Regicide and Quothquan both needing a good pace to aim at. The former goes well fresh and seems to like this circuit so must rate a serious contender. KING KEVIN also needs a good pace but having shown the speed to win over shorter he looks the most tactically versatile and there is no faulting his recent form. Dream Magic faces a stiffer task than last time, but Rainbow Rebel may prove his last run in a muddling affair was all wrong as his mark continues to drop.
