Broke his duck at Towcester (2m, soft) a couple of weeks ago in a 0-100 contest, from a mark of 92. Still had every chance when back there without a penalty and unseating three out (2m4f, soft) last time. Now up 7lb, so needs some improvement.
Has won four times from 2m2f-2m4f and none of his better form is over this short. Handles soft, though probably better on a sound surface. Returns from wind surgery on a competitive mark, so check market for any confidence in an immediate revival.
Best form over fences has been at around 2m4f, though has won a couple of hurdles over the minimum trip. Conditions no problem and has been running well enough of late from similar marks, but the need for speed over this distance is a concern.
25-1 for his recent chase debut over this C&D (soft), but ran better than the market suggested he would, finishing 5½L third. Jumped left there, which is not ideal going this way around, but could put in another good effort. Considered.
Has been unable to add to his rules debut success over hurdles at Hexham (2m4f, soft) when with Mark Walford in 2014. Recent efforts uninspiring and has dropped 20lb in four starts for this trainer. One to watch, especially over this shorter trip.

Forecasts
Glance Back (15/8), Skipping On (9/4), Red Tortue (4/1), Mondo Cane (7/1), Bally Lagan (17/2), Lost In Newyork (16/1)
A very poor contest, where SKIPPING ON may be able to continue his good recent form despite a 7lb rise. He was still going well when unseating at Towcester last time and he may not need as much improvement as his extra burden suggests in such a weak contest. Glance Back hit some form here last time and, if he can repeat that level of performance, then he could give the selection a bit to do. There are plenty of holes to be picked in the form of the remainder, though Bally Lagan and Mondo Cane may be able to join battle for minor honours.x
