€160,000 son of Kodiac who has been coming to hand gradually, culminating in a smooth win in a first-time hood over C&D where he beat subsequent dual-scorer Court House by almost 3L. Obvious claims of defying a 7lb penalty.
Expensive Breeze-Up purchase at 400,000 guineas but looked nothing special in a couple of turf runs over 7f last season, finishing only fourth when a short-price at Redcar. Likely he has more to offer this season, however.
Unfancied and soundly beaten in both runs so far, most recently when returning from a lengthy absence over 7f at Kempton last month. Hard to make a credible case for.
A £100,000 yearling purchase but sold for just 6,000 guineas after struggling on a lone start for Richard Fahey. Glimmers of improvement when third over 7f at Kempton on debut for this yard last month, so should give another good account.
Pastoral Pursuits filly who is a winner to three winners all over further. Given that her dam was suited by 1m2f too, she is likely to find this trip on the sharp side first time out.

There was plenty to like about the business-like manner of NICE SHOT'S comfortable front-running success over C&D last month and the fact that the runner-up, Court House, has won twice since gives the form a real solid look. With the hood retained, there should be much more to come from David Simcock's colt and it would be a surprise if he's not up to defying a penalty in this company. The expensive Commander Hen, who never quite lived up to his billing in two turf runs last season, looks the only conceivable threat with Lulu Star the pick of the remainder.
