Making a better fist of his second try over fences, winning at Worcester and Wincanton, the second of those wins in handicap company (appreciated the stamina test). Given a tough test last time out (Badger Ales Trophy), more suited amongst novices.

Up in the vanguard for much of the journey but recorded impressive Newbury success over similar trip (soft) in December, beating Baden by 15L. Cheekpieces added now and sets the standard. Yard have been a bit quiet lately.

15L second of seven behind Dingo Dollar at Newbury in December over similar trip in soft ground, gets a slight pull on these terms but must improve if hoping to bridge that gap. Champion trainer has his string purring right now.

Forecasts

Dingo Dollar (10/11), Mr Mix (13/8), Baden (5/1)

Verdict

DINGO DOLLAR was too good for Baden last time out at Newbury and should be able to confirm that for now. He has first-time cheekpieces on here and won't mind forcing things from the front. He is the one to beat on form and receives a handy 6lb frim Mr Mix. The Ditcheat runner was asked a rough question last time out in the Badger Ales and cannot be easily crossed off now returning to novice company with his trainer's string in such good form currently.
  1. Dingo Dollar
  2. Mr Mix
  3. Baden
