Completed a hat-trick over fences with game Perth success in June, showing willing attitude in doing so. Should appreciate this longer trip but will have to be fully tuned up to give away weight all round returning to hurdles.
Exciting novice over fences last winter, he underperformed at the spring festivals. Won a couple of novice hurdles in the autumn on return, though well beaten in Grade 2s at Cheltenham and Doncaster either side of a wind operation. Handicap debut.
Much more like it when going down a neck behind Holly Bush Henry at Sandown in early December and fair effort from the front at Kempton on Boxing Day (finished fourth). Upped in trip here and interesting contender if stamina holds out.
Nice performance to beat Rayvin Black at Hereford in December and backed that up with close second over 3m here on New Year's Day behind Cresswell Legend. Well matched with that rival now over this longer trip and should be in the mix.
On a roll for Kim Bailey, completing hat-trick when landing 3m contest here on New Year's Day, holding off Stamp Your Feet in second place. Up in trip and there ought to be more to come with yard in solid form (4-14 lately).
Once looked a useful staying chaser for Mick Channon but has lost his way and no form of note last season for this yard over fences/hurdles. Back from 302 days off and hard to see him winning this.
Promising start to hurdling career in October 2016 but faltered since. No concerns over the trip, but poor in three runs this season, including reverting back to hurdles at Southwell in December. Up against it on recent form off this mark.
Toiling over fences in Ireland this season, fell when well beaten at Leopardstown over Christmas, and also has some concerns over stamina for this test. Others are more appealing at the moment.
Ended last season with career-best to win at Ayr (2m4½f, good to soft) in conditionals event in April. Perhaps needed run on New Year's Day here but has ground to make up with Cresswell Legend and Stamp Your Feet on that showing.
Tends to run well here, though often without winning. Another that may have needed New Year's Day run when no match for the likes of Cresswell Legend and Stamp Your Feet in first-time hood (discarded now). Must improve on that.
Milan gelding now living up to his name after pair of 3m handicap hurdles successes here under this valuable 10lb claimer last month. This is a bit tougher, but should stay the extra yards and not hard to envisage another strong challenge.

Forecasts
Cresswell Legend (3/1), Connetable (9/2), Calett Mad (5/1), Jump For Dough (5/1), Stamp Your Feet (9/1), Chain Gang (12/1), Arthurs Secret (16/1), Mac N Cheese (16/1), Some Kinda Lama (18/1), Knock House (25/1), Tantamount (33/1), Beeves (40/1)
Cresswell Legend is on a roll for Kim Bailey of late and arrives back here seeking a four-timer after impressing again on New Year's Day. He showed the right attitude to score there and should go well again raised 4lb and up slightly in trip. Stamp Your Feet was right behind him in second spot last time and looks capable of mounting another challenge. Connetable has taken some steps in the right direction recently and may figure if his stamina holds out while it would be dangerous to overlook handicap debutant Calett Mad on his best form. JUMP FOR DOUGH is much-improved after a pair of course wins last month and should be able to get close to the hat-trick in this tougher test with his rider's claim a very useful asset over a trip that should hold no fears.
- Jump For Dough
- Cresswell Legend
- Calett Mad
