Best effort in three starts in bumpers came over C&D last time. The winner of that contest has developed into a Cheltenham Festival contender so this mare has to enter calculations.
Sakhee's Secret mare who is a sister to a 1m AW winner. Good stable always to be respected in these types of races and a check in the market is advised.
By Shirocco out of a Pennekamp mare, she is from the family of Grand National winner Rule The World. Upwardly-mobile stable is going great guns so she is clearly one to keep a close eye on.
Sulamani gelding from a family the stable knows well. Beaten out of sight on debut at Wincanton and may need more time to develop.
Daughter of Norse Dancer out of a Kris Kin mare. Wears a hood on her racecourse debut and is likely to need the experience.
Yeats half-sister to four winners, most notably smart hurdler/chaser Simonsig. Looked in need of the outing when second of eight on debut and is a leading player for top trainer whose horses are in tremendous form.
Strong in the market when winning on debut under this jockey at Warwick. Trainer enjoying a fruitful spell so she has to go on the short list with improvement expected.
Delegator filly who cost 5,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to six winners. Likely to need this debut run, but is worth noting in the betting.
A Gold Well filly out of an Overbury mare, she is from a good jumping family which includes the high-class Dublin Flyer. Looks a long-term prospect, but represents a leading yard and is one to consider.
Forecasts
Simonia (11/10), Buildmeupbuttercup (3/1), Sixty's Belle (13/2), Ceara Be (10/1), Foxtrot Juliet (12/1), Far Cry (14/1), Oriental Flame (20/1), Be Happy Two (25/1), Kentford Mallard (50/1)
Much the stronger of the two divisions. Ceara Be ran into a very useful sort last time and should find this easier, while any money for newcomers Far Cry, Foxtrot Juliet and Sixty's Belle would be worth noting. However, Simonia and BUILDMEUPBUTTERCUP set a decent standard for the others to aim at and the latter, quite impressive under this jockey on debut, gets the vote.
- Buildmeupbuttercup
- Simonia
- Ceara Be
