Yet to finish out of the front two in a chase, including in graded company. Has bigger races than this on his agenda later in the season and it would be a disappointment if he couldn't take this after a recent close second in a Grade 1.

Off the mark in good fashion in a beginners' chase at Cork last time. Steps up in trip here which may bring about some improvement but improvement is still required.

Exceeded expectations to win on chase debut two starts ago but didn't really build on it when fourth in a Grade 3 last time out. Needs a career best to figure here.

More than 37L behind Jury Duty at Leopardstown last time out. Could run well but tough to see him reversing that form in first-time blinkers.

0/15 across bumpers, hurdles and chases so far and very difficult to build a case for against a couple of classy individuals in this field.

Forecasts

Livelovelaugh (9/4), Mossback (9/4), Jury Duty (3/1), Moulin A Vent (7/2), De Danu's Bach (200/1)

Verdict

JURY DUTY is sure to have loftier targets on his agenda going forward being quoted in the betting for races such as the RSA Chase and the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, and it would be disappointing if he wasn't able to pick another win here. Second in a Grade 1 last time out (to Shattered Love, a stablemate he had previously beaten), he looks a cut above the rest of these. Mossback was particularly impressive in a Grade 3 last time out but may be able to build on that, while Livelovelaugh could improve for this step up in trip.
  1. Jury Duty
  2. Mossback
  3. Livelovelaugh
