Victorious over hurdles at Kilbeggan (yielding) in May last year and a fair effort despite finishing last of five on chase debut earlier this month. Interesting runner today.

10/1

4/1
Dual winner over hurdles including in a 2m4f conditions event at Punchestown (good-to-yielding) in first time blinkers last spring. Unraced since and blinkers left off for today's chasing debut.

Cap D'Auboist173
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: R M Power| T: W P Mullins| BF
7/1
Good effort in finishing second over 2m7f at TIpperary (soft) in October but disappointed when favourite the following month and wears a tongue tie for the first time today.

Kemboy26
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Paul Townend| T: W P Mullins
2/5
Classy novice hurdler last season and finished fifth in a Grade 1 at the Cheltenham Festival in March. Ran well to be second on chase debut earlier this month and is one to note in this contest.
6
Horse silk
40/1
Three times a winner in point-to-points but struggled in two starts over fences so far and likely to prove more competitive once tackling handicaps.
7
Horse silk
50/1
Point-to-point winner last June but finished well beaten on a bumper when making his rules debut last month and is probably best watched on his first start over fences.
8
Horse silk
Sir Bob26
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Mark Walsh| T: R Tyner
50/1
Winner of his sole start in point-to-points but struggled under rules including when beaten 25L in a Tramore novice chase on his debut over the larger obstacles at the start of this month.

Forecasts

Kemboy (2/5), C'Est Jersey (4/1), Cap D'Aubois (7/1), Ballela Boy (10/1), Art Of Synergy (25/1), Lacken Bridge (40/1), Sir Bob (50/1), Screaming Colours (50/1)

Verdict

KEMBOY boasts some solid form over hurdles and he can get off the mark at the second time of asking in this opening beginners chase. The selection ran well to be second on chase debut recently and can get the better of stablemate C'est Jersey who is another who was a useful novice hurdler last season. Ballella Boy put in a solid effort last time out and he can claim third on this occasion.
  1. Kemboy
  2. C'est Jersey
  3. Ballela Boy
