Made the frame in a couple of Irish point-to-points, the second being a decent effort. Bettered that on rules debut when 18L fourth in a bumper here (heavy) earlier in the month. Interesting over hurdles, back up in trip and in headgear.
Looked promising when making frame in a Doncaster bumper (good) two years ago, but off for 20-months. Has done okay in two recent runs since that absence, both here and has potential to do better now stepped up to this trip.
Put up career-best on first start for this trainer at Wetherby (2m3½f, good to soft) in November, though disappointing favourite here last time. Stamina is his forte, so step up in trip positive. Has best form here if he can handle heavy ground.
Well beaten here in a bumper (good) on debut in April and ran well for long enough until weakening at Exeter (2m7f, soft) on his hurdles debut last month. Needs a fair bit more than that but improvement not ruled out.
Beat Equus Flight 5L in an Irish point-to-point in November. Also ran well on rules debut over inadequate 1m6f at Lingfield (soft). Return to jumping obstacles and this trip gives him a chance to get more competitive today.
Has been making steady improvement so far and stuck on gamely when beaten at Wetherby last time (2m5½f, soft). Longer trip looks positive and may help with the improvement that he needs to get more closely involved.
JAMMIN MASTERS looks to have a good opportunity to put his latest run behind him and confirm the promise of his Wetherby debut by breaking his duck today. Rocco and Equus Flight provide us with some collateral Irish point-to-point form and the former, who won their battle in that sphere, can probably confirm that form here. Trixster is not beyond improvement either and is not ruled out.
