Posted a very low-key debut when finishing ninth of ten to One More Chance in a 1m maiden at Southwell earlier this month, and very hard to enthuse over based upon that showing.
€47,000 yearling who looked in need of the experience when finishing just over 5L fourth to the well backed First Contact (Godolphin) over 7f here earlier in the month. Can build upon that effort now upped in trip.
Unraced eighth foal by Showcasing who is a half-brother to four winners including Costa Percy (same ownership). Likely to need a longer trip in time, but weak numerically, this race offers a realistic starting option.
220,000 gns yearling who showed a fair level of form on all three starts on turf (7f), and was beaten just ¾L on his AW debut at Lingfield last month. Not exactly bombproof in the first time blinkers, but still very tough to beat.

John Gosden held a very strong hand in this race at the initial entry stage, and he relies upon the first time blinkered ODE TO AUTUMN to improve his fine Newcastle AW record (14 from 39; 36%). This gelding looks far from a leading light, but has been gifted an ideal opportunity to belatedly get off the mark. Of the others, only Assimile could be considered as a realistic threat at this stage of their respective careers.
