Last three wins have come from this mark and he drops into a grade which has produced four of his seven victories. One of a few in this who likes to lead, but he has the best draw of those that do.
Triple C&D winner but out of form lately and handicapper has hitherto been slow to react. Dropped 5lb having been poorly drawn in a rough race last time, so some improvement would be expected.
Has now had three runs for this yard following a year's absence and he has been unlucky on the last two. 2-3 around here and beaten just a head when defeated. Obvious claims.
Winner of a better class contest than this at Newmarket in the summer, and still looks on a fair enough mark. Good effort on return from a break last time and, although best efforts have come over 6f, she has proved she goes this far.
Easy winner in lower grade but struggled from his revised mark last time. Yet to win in five previous attempts in this grade, but has fared well with the draw.
Three time winner in France who is yet to trouble the judge over here. Down in the weights and grade, although having reportedly failed to handle the track at Epsom this circuit may cause some problems.
Unproven at the trip and 5lb above his recent winning mark. Poor when last seen and just 1-13 in his grade.
Record of 3-7 includes two C&D victories, the most recent coming under this rider 10 days ago. Remains fairly treated and cannot to be ruled out in this higher grade.

Exchequer (2/1), Rely On Me (7/2), Toriano (5/1), Right Action (5/1), Pearl Spectre (13/2), Sword Exceed (8/1), Mr Bossy Boots (12/1), Van Gerwen (14/1), Sir Ottoman (16/1)
A few of these like to crack on from the front and a strong pace could set this up for a "closer" such as EXCHEQUER. David O'Meara's charge is 2-3 around here and has looked unlucky lately having been denied a clear run on his penultimate start, and then getting caught too far back when the sprint developed last time. A truer pace will help as will a slight drop in the weights. Pearl Spectre appeals most of the likely pacemakers now that he is down to his optimum level and mark, whilst Toriano and Rely On Me are likely to improve on their solid efforts last time.
