Has really come to hand lately and always looked the likely winner last time. Up in class but has won at this level previously. Could still be ahead of the handicapper if adapting to this new surface.
Finished a head behind Tilly Trotter last month and had that rival behind her when just denied in a better race next time. 7-20 around here and placed a further six times so another big run can be expected.
Hit hard by the handicapper for a 6L romp at Nottingham on penultimate start and no surprise to see him finish last next time. Handicapper has revised his view, but he remains 18lb above his winning mark and needs to establish himself on fibresand.
Much better on the AW tracks and he has gone close on both starts here. Made a pleasing return here two weeks ago and rates a major contender now down to his last winning mark.
Given a break having trailed Tilly Trotter by 25L on penultimate start. Ran a lot better at Newcastle last week, but questions to answer now up in grade and on this surface for the first time.
Had been in excellent form here prior to a disappointing run at Newcastle last time. Goes well for this rider but 0-20 in this grade.
Forecasts
Rosina (3/1), Brother Tiger (7/2), Razin' Hell (7/2), Tilly Trotter (9/2), Pearl Acclaim (8/1), Classic Pursuit (14/1), Fruit Salad (16/1)
Rosina and Classic Pursuit have recent impressive success on their CVs but both are unproven on tis surface and meet a few course specialists. Razin' Hell is 7-20 around here and was only just denied in a higher class race last time. He looks very tempting in this, but BROTHER TIGER is marginally preferred. The veteran ran well here on his return from a break and he races off a mark which looks highly attractive..
