The two previous winners DESERT DOCTOR and Cool Spirit look the most likely pair in this. The latter was unconvincing last time at Catterick in August and a half-length defeat of a 71-rated rival (in recipt of 5lb) implies he has more to do than the official ratings suggest. DESERT DOCTOR flew from the stalls and had the field strung out at Kempton only to be overhauled in the closing stages by a rival in receipt of 12lb from him. That sort of pace, given his rate of improvement, makes him the one to beat. Ingleby Molly should do better back at this trip and looks best of the rest.
