Has been in cracking form this winter and continued her good work with an effortless win at Kempton latest, quickening away and winning with any amount in hand. Already proven at this track too, and penalty won't stop her if she's in the same form.
Ran well at Newbury on October off the back of a break but couldn't reproduce that here next time, slowly away and never getting in it. Form of the yard now much better though, and on a very good mark if that run can be forgiven. Not ruled out.
C&D winner here back in 2015 but has become very inconsistent lately, beaten out of sight at Lingfield latest and hard to fancy on that. May need a good pace to aim at too, and that's not a given here either. Others make more appeal.,
Had shown plenty of promise in Northern maidens (for Peter Chapple-Hyam) and transferred that over when having first run for new yard at Kempton last week, not beaten far after pulling hard. Chances if settling better here, with improvement to come.
Not thrashed at Kempton last week but that tends to be the case these days, running okay without ever threatening to win one, Bound to pop up again at some point but predicting when is a game in itself, and on that, others preferred.
Good effort over C&D latest when a close second back off a break, and that minus his usual headgear. Goes without them again here, and will arguably of more interest once they are reapplied. Chance of getting in the places again.
Has gone well for this rider lately, winning here (over 10f) and then third at Wolverhampton last time, but this drop back to a mile is far from certain to suit and unless the leaders go too quickly, finishing effort may come too late.
Forecasts
Titan Goddess (15/8), Ross Raith Rover (15/8), Nature Boy (3/1), Highland Pass (11/1), Plucky Dip (16/1), Ted's Brother (20/1), Spiritual Star (66/1)
Titan Goddess continues in cracking form and even with the welter burden she has to carry, is the one to beat. There'could be a fly in the ointment, however, in the shape of NATURE BOY who ran well on his first start for his new yard last week and might be able to get loose off the front here. With the possibility of improvement to come, he can take this. Ross Raith Rover and Highland Pass look likely to fight out the minor money.
- Nature Boy
- Titan Goddess
