Coral Best Price Guaranteed Standard Open NH Flat Race

Off time: 15:55 | Winning time: 4m 10.90s

Good Boy Bobby^h1⁵⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| CD

2/1

Fleminsfirth gelding with a nice pedigree who cost €80,000 for this yard. Impressive when winner over C&D on debut and has to be right there again if improving from that run. Wears a first-time hood.

Form: 1

Big Fred

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Dave Crosse| T: B J Llewellyn

20/1

Unraced son of Tikkanen and a half-brother to four time winner Howwoulduno. Yard not known for their success in this sphere and perhaps best watched.

Form:

Court Duty⁵⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Ian Popham| T: J L Flint

50/1

Well held in two starts in bumpers including on debut for this yard on soft ground here last time. Likely to struggle once more.

Form: 8-0

Cul De Poule^t1²¹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Andrew Tinkler| T: M Keighley

7/1

Signs of ability when finishing fifth in a bumper at Worcester (good) on debut back in June. Will have learnt plenty from that run and has each-way claims if the first-time tongue-tie works.

Form: 5

Equus Flight⁶²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: James Bowen⁽⁵⁾| T: P & M Bowen

5/1

Placed twice from three starts in point-to-point company in Ireland. Cost connections £27,000 at the sales last month and worth a check in the market on rules debut with very useful 5lb claimer in the saddle.

Form: 3-P2

Gwalia⁵¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams

11/4

Promising debut when finishing runner-up on good ground at Taunton last time out. Underfoot conditions likely to be markedly different here and interesting to see how he fares in this contest.

Form: 2

Mister Rainman^h1²⁹⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Lorcan Williams⁽⁷⁾| T: A Wintle

50/1

Well beaten in a soft ground bumper at Stratford on debut back in March. Others have a more obvious chance in this contest. Wears first-time hood.

Form: 8-

Mount Rushmoore³⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: T Scudamore| T: C L Tizzard

9/2

Westerner gelding. Irish point-to-point winner who cost £28,000 for this yard in Decmeber. Yard a little quiet lately and they are yet to have a bumper winner here. Perhaps best watched.

Form: 1

Forecasts

Good Boy Bobby (2/1), Gwalia (11/4), Mount Rushmoore (9/2), Equus Flight (5/1), Cul De Poule (7/1), Big Fred (20/1), Mister Rainman (50/1), Court Duty (50/1)

GOOD BOY BOBBY cost plenty prior to his course and distance win last time out and he could be capable of winning again with another step forward here. Gwalia is a player if he handles contrasting conditions to his effort at Taunton but Equus Flight may prove the main danger and he has plenty of point-to-point experience.
