Largely in good form over hurdles last term and has made a promising start to his career over fences despite not getting his head in front yet. Jumped better last time and improving so should go well.
Useful over hurdles and won a Listed contest in that sphere but hasn't been in the same form since switched to fences. The application of blinkers didn't do a lot last time and she looks opposable here.
Winner of his last two completed starts including over 2m5f at Ffos Las (heavy) last time out. Had fallen on chase debut prior to that and this step up in trip is in his favour racing off a 7lb higher mark today.
In good form in the autumn when he was successful twice in a visor on good ground. Struggled in two starts here since but gets a very useful conditional taking over 5lb..
Hurdles winner who came on for his reappearance when a good seceond at Exeter in November. Not as good back at that course last month where it appeared he failed to stay. Drop back in trip in his favour and capable of running well.
Arrives here bidding for his fourth win in five starts. Excellent effort when returning at Ayr in October and given time to recover from that effort so ought to run well again on second start over fences with more improvement to come.
Forecasts
Pure Vision (11/4), Socksy (3/1), Scotchtown (4/1), Another Venture (11/2), Surtee Du Berlais (6/1), Souriyan (8/1)
SOCKSY was impressive on her return to action last time and she has more scope for improvement on just her second start over the larger obstacles. Scotchtown is improving and should be capable of getting in the first three while Pure Vision could prove the main danger to the selection in his bid for a hat-trick and the seven-year-old is proven in the conditions.
