Was looking disappointing over hurdles but won when switched to the Flat at Chelmsford, although second a frustrating sort and the form is not great. Needs more here under a penalty.
Useful middle distance horse on the turf and his second at Haydock (in heavy ground) is head and shoulders above the rest of these form-wise. Takes plenty of beating if handling the surface (is related to all-weather winners).
Shown little over hurdles/bumpers to date, although did finish second in an all-weather bumper at Lingfield on debut, so should at least handle the surface. Still hard to make much of a case for all the same.
Nicely bred individual and no doubt that future lies over hurdles/fences in time, but only narrowly beaten on only French start (winner gone on to win two more) and form looks solid. Gets a bit of weight and interesting to see what the market says.
Forecasts
Night Of Glory (30/100), Bardd (9/2), Firmage Burg (15/2), Arctic Chief (100/1)
This looks a good opportunity for NIGHT OF GLORY , who has the form in the book and holds a class advantage over these. He may be given most to do by Firmage Burg, who may need the experience but looks one to follow over hurdles in the coming year. Bardd looks booked for the bronze.
