Goes on any ground and recorded an unchallenged 21L success in this race last year from an 11lb lower mark. Has since won twice over 1m4f on soft on the Flat, though not seen over fences since a heavy fall when going well at Ayr in April. Claims.
Won on good ground at Perth (2m) in April, though best form has been on soft ground. Inconsistent and will need to jump better than last time, though has the ability to get competitive if on a 'going' day.
All four jumps wins have been at around this trip and on good to soft ground, though almost two years since the last of them. Still 2lb higher here but was in good form in the autumn and looks short-list material.
Scored over this trip (good) at Wexford in June when with Henry De Bromhead and also on heavy (2m½f, Ayr) on debut for this stable in November. Made mistakes when held from this 4lb higher mark at Wetherby last time but capable if he jumps better.
Former winner of the Grand Annual for Paul Nicholls but unable to add to that and is now 20lb lower. Couldn't rule out from this mark based on his Southwell run from June when 2lb higher, but yet to win when fresh and not easy to envisage a win.

Mixboy (1/1), Archive (7/2), Ut Majeur Aulmes (11/2), Pain Au Chocolat (6/1), Chain Of Beacons (6/1), Solar Impulse (14/1), Trust Thomas (16/1)
The day's feature has drawn a competitive field and last year's winner MIXBOY is taken to repeat the dose despite being 11lb higher today. Despite crashing out at Ayr in April, he has proved his well being on the Flat since and should be well prepared for his return here. Depending on which Pain Au Chocolat turns up, he could give the selection a run for his money, but he is not easy to trust from a betting perspective and from much lower in the weights, Chain Of Beacons has to be taken seriously given the nature of his Kelso success. Ut Majeur Aulmes enters calculations and Archive also make appeal.
