Returned to form when winning over an extended 2m3f at Limerick (heavy) last week. Switches to novice company today and is an interesting runner today.
Followed up a Punchestown (2m4f) handicap hurdle win by finishing second in a couple over handicap hurdles including over heavy ground over the same C&D last time out. Making his chasing debut today.
Sole success came in a Down Royal bumper on good-to-yielding ground over 2m2f in June 2016. Fair effort when finishing 5L third on stable and chase debut in first time cheekpieces (retained) at Clonmel (2m, heavy) last month.
Winner of a maiden hurdle on heavy ground in 2015 and ran well in a point-to-point at Lemonfield (heavy) back in March. Making his chasing debut today.
Point-to-point winner on heavy ground in the spring but disappointing under rules including on handicap debut over fences last time. Switch to fences may bring about improvement and he is worth a check in the market today.
Seven race and maiden and finished 23L fourth over 2m5f on heavy ground here on chasing debut last month. Interesting to see how he fares with cheekpieces fitted for the first time.
Winner of a handicap hurdle on soft-to-heavy ground on this card 12 months ago. Signs of ability when sixth on chasing debut but pulled up at Limerick last time out. Drops in trip today.
