Flat recruit (Ralph Beckett) who was course maiden winner on the level in June over 1m4f. Shown some promise in hurdles runs at Bangor and Catterick and should be fine on soft ground. Can get involved.

Modest maiden on the Flat, ran a big race on hurdles debut at Sedgefield (2m1f, soft) in October when third of nine at 66/1 in Class 4 juvenile contest. Unable to repeat it next time at Catterick when fading late on but remains of some interest.

75-rated Flat performer has run well for a long way in both starts over hurdles at Catterick and Sedgefield (both 2m1f, good to soft). Jumping just needs to improve a touch and will be landing one of these soon surely.

Rated 84 on the Flat where he won a Catterick handicap over 1m4f (good) in August. Third (beaten 27L) in Grade 2 Juvenile at Doncaster last month on hurdles bow. This is less taxing.

Verdict

JE SUIS CHARLIE was quite useful on the Flat and made an encouraging start over timber when running well for a long way at Doncaster in a Grade 2 recently. He was no match for the front pair there in the end but this is much less taxing and he's taken to open his account as such. Likewise, Jamacho has run with promise since going over timber this season and, if improving slightly on his hurdling technique, he'll soon land a race like this. Beach Break and Indian Vision are others to have advertised some credentials.
  1. Je Suis Charlie
  2. Jamacho
  3. Beach Break
