Twice placed here he's hardly returned in the best of form last month twice running poorly and well below form. He's starting to look well handicapped (last win came off 16lb higher) but there's not much sign of him taking advantage.
Certainly improved on the pick of his hurdles/chase form last time out when winning comfortably at Hereford despite a late blunder. Every chance that he'll be able to build on that run but is 6lb higher here and on a more testing surface.
Has some decent form around here (mostly over hurdles) but has been very hit and more miss over fences of late. Threatened a revival on his penultimate start at Huntingdon but was poor last time; well handicapped if he is on a going day.
His GB career so far has been underwhelming and he did little to dispel that notion last time out when unseating his rider when well held at Exeter. Handicapper keeps giving him a chance but he shows very little sign of taking the opportunity.
Dual hurdles winner earlier in the off slightly lower marks but hasn't returned from a break in the same form. May have needed the run on his return but disappointed on his chasing debut and never landed a blow (not knocked around though); more needed here.
Out-and-out front runner who fared poorly over hurdles last time out and now returns to fences. Essentially chucked in here off a mark 11lb below his last winning one just over a year ago at his beloved Huntingdon; dangerous with a soft lead if he comes back to form.
There won't be many if any who travel through this race better than him but a win/run ratio of 1/21 over fences tells the story. He's more than capable of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory on any occasion and did so at Fakenham last time; one to be wary of for win purposes.

Not a strong event although it does contain a trio that are very well handicapped on their old form in Jackthejourneyman, Gores Island and Helium and if any of those return to their old form they could win this very easily although there are doubts about all three. BURRENBRIDGE HOTEL despite a slight question mark about the ground looks to be the improving one here and he could well build on his last time out win off just a 6lb higher mark. Yourholidayisover always comes into the equation in races such as this but his finishing effort leaves a lot to be desired and he’s more likely to finish second than win this given how many times he’s thrown away victory chances.
