Ran to a fair level on his sole Flat outing at Killarney over a mile when trained by John Joseph Murphy. Now starts out over hurdles for a leading stable and he looks to have a good chance on his debut although there are some stamina doubts.
The most experienced of these over hurdles (this will be his 6th start in his sphere) he ran well against the most testing opposition he's faced last time out. Still needs to improve his jumping though but not totally out of this.
Showed some fair form in three maiden on the Flat when trained in France (placed once). Cost €25,000 in July and makes his hurdles debut here for a yard that are more than capable with their hurdlers.
She was a poor maiden on the Flat at up to 2m and looks to be little better over hurdles on the evidence of two starts so far. Has started at 150/1 and 50/1 so far and plenty to prove here.
Half-sister to a couple of winners on the Flat she make her hurdles debut here and would be a surprise winner and will probably need the experience. Yard are 0/37 under Rules in the past five years.
Half-sister to fair hurdler Keltic Crisis a winner over 3m her dam was also a hurdles winner. Makes only modest appeal though on her debut.
Failed to score on the Flat when trained in Ireland although did show some ability when third in a Dundalk handicap over 1m4f last time. Now makes her debut over hurdles and not totally out of this if she takes to this discipline.
Forecasts
Kings Inn (2/1), Vaziani (5/2), Marettimo (11/4), Sin Sin (3/1), Moynihans Girl (33/1), Martha's Dream (66/1), Dartmoor Girl (100/1)
Not the strongest of openers to the card and Kings Inn has the best Flat form of these on offer although there are some slight stamina doubts. VAZIANI may therefore just offer a little more scope in betting terms for this likeable yard on his debut. Marettimo has plenty of experience and he could put that to good use but his jumping has been rather hit and miss. Of the fillies Sin Sin would very much be the most useful based on her Flat form and she’s not totally ruled out of this.
- Vaziani
- Kings Inn
- Sin Sin
