Didn't prove capable of competing in the Grade 1 Punchestown bumper in April, but made a winning start over hurdles at Ascot in November (2m good) beating American Gigolo by 1½L. Penalised, but more to offer if handling the conditions.
Left his bumper efforts behind when tackling obstacles for the first time at Lingfield last month (2m soft). His 4L defeat of the 126-rated subsequent Towcester winner Al Shahir represents a reasonable level of form. Further improvement likely.
Cost €70,000 as a three-year-old, and this Presenting gelding tackles hurdles for the first time on the back of a couple of modest efforts in bumpers last month. Looks a stayer in the making, so testing conditions are helpful over 2m.
Scored on debut in a Kempton bumper (2m, good) in March 2016 and ran well under penalty at Ayr next time. However, not seen since and now reappears for hurdles debut after an absence of 20 months.
Full brother to Grand National winner Ballabriggs, and has a pedigree which implies chasing will be his game. Beaten approximately 28L on debut over C&D (maiden hurdle) when fifth of 13 to Lostintranslation.
Bumper winner on good ground at Southwell in March but disappointing when beaten on hurdling debut at Fakenham (2m, good) last month. Could do better if settling better today and stable have won this nine time since it's inception in 2007.
Merely stayed on past beaten horses on debut at Plumpton (bumper) in early December, and doesn't look capable of competing in this grade on hurdles debut this afternoon. Better with more time and experience.
Shown very little on the Flat in 15 career starts (1m2f winner), and was rated just 51 when last racing on the AW at Kempton in November. Little chance on hurdles debut barring accidents.

Royal Ruby should be stronger if settling better than he did on his hurdles debut at Fakenham, and by Yeats has plenty to offer in the stamina department. However, the penalised pair of Dell Oro and FIRST FLOW make more appeal at present. The former has to prove he can handle testing conditions, but he made a pleasing hurdles debut at Ascot last month. Therefore, preference is for the Kim Bailey trained runner, who looks every inch a future staying chaser. His hurdles debut coincided with an upturn in fortunes, and by beating a 126-rated subsequent winner (Al Shahir), he sets the clear benchmark.
