Won an Exeter bumper (soft) on debut in February and reappeared with an excellent effort in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham last month. Never easy to win these races under a penalty, but he would appear to have decent claims in this field.
Well backed ahead of his Ludlow debut and ran with promise despite showing lack of experience. More than likely to come on for that run and should play a leading role here for a yard that are always respected in this sphere.
€35,000 yearling and then sold for £19,000 at three. Full-brother to Limoncello, placed in 2m6f hurdle/3m2f chase. Dam an Italian 2m/2m2f hurdle winner. Stable usually 7% in bumpers but 0-9 this season. Market check suggested.

Cost just £1,000 as a yearling. Full-brother to a placed runner over 1m-1m2f on Flat and half-brother to 1m½f-1m4f winner. 66-1 and well beaten on debut at Southwell and looks unlikely to be stable's first bumper winner in several seasons.

Closely related to bumper/very useful 2m3f hurdle/3m1f chase winner Vintage Clouds, half-brother to 2m1f-3m2f hurdle/useful chase winner Vintage Star. Stable in form and are 12% in bumpers in recent years, though 0-2 this season. Interesting.

Forecasts

Air Navigator (1/2), Vintage Glen (9/2), Imperial Nemesis (7/1), Informateur (10/1), Multitalented (28/1)

Verdict

Although defying penalties in bumpers is never straightforward, AIR NAVIGATOR has surely got a very good chance of doing so in this field. His run in the Listed Cheltenham bumper last month will take an awful of beating if he is able to repeat it today. Imperial Nemesis should improve for his first effort and get closer this time, while an eye on the market with regard to the two newcomers would be prudent with Vintage Glen perhaps the more likely of the pair to chase home the selection.
  1. Air Navigator
  2. Vintage Glen
  3. Imperial Nemesis
