Looked a chaser of some potential when staying on well to outpoint two better-fancied rivals on debut at Carlisle (2m, heavy) in October. Conditions ideal and he was a Grade 2 hurdle winner at this track. Plenty going for him, including longer trip.
Another mudlark who was a decent handicap hurdler in testing conditions and rated 148 at his best in that sphere. Not disgraced despite last of five on novice chase debut at Carlisle (2m4f, soft) last month and could do much better for that run.
Well placed to win 4-6 over hurdles (inc. 3m½f Listed mares' novices' contest in March). At her best on testing ground. Was going well until broke blood vessel/pulled up on chase debut at Carlisle earlier in month. Couldn't rule out if over that.

Jonniesofa (10/11), Lastbutnotleast (2/1), Shades Of Midnight (7/2)
Another tough race for punters despite the small field. Lastbutnotleast has a good chance at these weights, though it is a concern that she bled last time and this trip would be short enough for her. Shades Of Midnight can surely improve on his chase debut at Carlisle over a similar trip last month, though perhaps JONNIESOFA is the one to side with despite his penalty. He did well on debut over an inadequate trip in October and with heavy ground right up his street and the longer trip today also a plus, he may be able to successfully concede weight to the other pair.
