Ran really well in this when third (beaten 2½L) from 4lb lower last year. Gained compensation over C&D two weeks later. Acts on soft ground and two runs this autumn could have him spot on for a big run this time.
Decent performer at 2m-2m4½f and scored over latter trip at Ayr (heavy) last month, when 6lb lower. Weakened up Haydock home straight in good graduation chase when last seen. Drops significantly in trip but interesting if making use of his stamina.
Goes well on deep ground and has returned from a lengthy absence in 2017 with a couple of good runs. Fell early last time, but if in same mood as he was at Ayr (2m, soft) from this mark in November, then he could go close.
Had 4L to spare over Duke Of Navan (and is now 2lb worse off with him) when scoring at Perth in April. Beaten 7L from 1lb higher mark by a Kerry Lee-trained runner here over C&D (soft) last time. Should be competitive but this demands more.
Former Henry De Bromhead inmate who scored on debut for this yard at Ayr (2m½f, heavy) last month, when 4lb lower. Will need to step up on that form today and previous form places a little doubt on his ability to find sufficient improvement.
Arrives in cracking form after wins at Fakenham and then here over C&D (soft) last time, when he won by an eased-down 8L. Up 7lb for that success in a three-runner field and this is significantly tougher. Will do well to complete a hat-trick.

Another competitive renewal of the feature on the card. The suggestion is TOP GAMBLE, who is the class horse in the field and doesn't meet anything like Un De Sceaux, his recent Cork conqueror, in this field. Trip and ground are ideal and despite the crushing burden that he has to shoulder, he has a decent chance from this mark. Just Cameron is on the sort of mark that should enable him to go close, while Cyrus Darius, Duke Of Navan and Pain Au Chocolat are others who could have a say.

- Just Cameron
