Had shown enough early to warrant a tilt at Listed company and, though outclassed in that grade, he improved to win a 7f conditions event here latest (first run since being gelded). Stamina taken on trust over this longer trip.
Improved to open his account at the third attempt over C&D last month but below that form when only mid-division in a slightly stronger novice event next time. Opening mark looks reasonable and should be in the mix.
Much-improved in first-time blinkers to open his account at the third attempt over 7f at Newcastle last month but no match for the impressive Without Parole when third over 1m there last time. Still, opening marks looks fair enough.
Won a Goodwood novice event (7f, good to soft) in decent style two starts ago but has finished last in a Listed race in France since (very soft ground). Hard to get an accurate handle on as she makes a nursery bow.
Signs of ability on turf before finishing third of 12 over this C&D, though latest effort at Chelmsford represented a step backwards. Doesn't appear to have any margin for error from this opening mark.
Won a modest 7f novice race at Newcastle three starts ago but hasn't really kicked on from that, managing only third in a claimer over this C&D last week. Visor introduced for her nursery debut.
Forecasts
Jellmood (9/4), Guvenor's Choice (5/2), Windsor Cross (4/1), Island Court (11/2), Blue Harmony (9/1), Pastamakesufaster (14/1)
The market may prove particularly informative with all six making a nursery debut but WINDSOR CROSS looks a strong potential player regardless. Richard Fahey's gelding was probably facing an impossible task against Without Parole at Newcastle last week but shaped well enough on his first attempt at 1m and, having scored over a shorter trip there previously, he doesn't appear unduly over-burdened from an opening mark of 81. Jellmond opened his account over 7f here last time and may prove the best of these but has a stamina query to answer. Guvenor's Choice, the only C&D winner in the field, is also respected despite a below par effort last time.
